While our story is important, it's not nearly as important as yours...

From the beginning of time, people have struggled with saying goodbye, following a death. Since the opening of our oldest location in the late 1800s it has been our mission to provide a warm, comfortable and respectful environment for your family to do that.

Funerals have changed drastically over time. We strive to ensure that every funeral tells the story of the life that was lived. Location, music, video and readings all can help portray the life that is being remembered. Our facilities our equipped with the technology necessary to meet the needs of your family, in our exceptionally comfortable and appointed surroundings. Our main rooms are large enough to accommodate your family’s need for space and gathering. Our lounges are available as a calm respite from the bustle of the crowd.

Our caring staff of professionals are always available to care for your family. Our Indiana licensed funeral directors share a wealth of experience, and we are equipping our next generation to serve, as well.

Together we can help make some of the most difficult days some of the most valuable, telling the story of your family in a way that only we can. Let us assist in the planning of a memorable, unforgettable tribute.

Our Rich Past - The Present

All of our funeral home locations have unique stories dating back to the 1800s. Todd Bozell has been a licensed funeral director since 1995, and started working in our Lapel funeral home location when he was in high school. In the early 2000s, Todd had the opportunity to grow his career and managed a large funeral home in the Anderson area for 15+ years. In September 2019, Todd and his son, Noah had the opportunity to purchase the former Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. From late 2019 to early 2024 Todd and Noah were living and serving Lapel and Madison County families in Lapel. In early 2024, Todd and Noah brought on two new business partners, Todd's son, Luke and Todd's cousin, Chad Bozell. The Bozell Family at this time period had the opportunity to purchase three other funeral home locations, Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home in Anderson, Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Home, Lahm Chapel in Pendleton, and Condo & St. Pierre Funeral Home in Wilkinson. We felt this was an amazing opportunity to continue and broaden our services to the Madison and Hancock families we serve.
