Mr. Zachary P. Morgan

Zachary P. Morgan, 35, of Anderson, passed away December 4, 2017 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. He passed knowing he had the love of his family and friends. Zachary was born in Anderson on May 19, 1982, to Michael and Paula (Claxton) Morgan. He graduated from Highland High School in 2000. He most recently lived in Indianapolis. Zachary worked in retail management. He is survived by his parents, Michael and Paula Morgan of Anderson; his brother and sister-in-law, Jarek and Kristen Morgan of Fishers; and the loves of his life, Maxwell, Evelyn and Samuel, children of Jarek and Kristen. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Theresa Claxton of Franklin; maternal uncles and aunts, Robert, Jr. and Susan Claxton; Jeff and Olga Claxton; Charles and Julie Claxton; Michael and Becky Claxton; nineteen cousins and special friend, Tyler Epperson. Zachary was a fun-loving person. He had the gift of making people laugh. If you were having a bad day you would only need a few minutes with him to change the day positive. He had a kind and warm heart. He has hundreds of friends and he touched the hearts of many in his short 35 years. His friends share in the sadness and grief with the family. He adored his nephews and niece. We hope that someday they will realize the love he had for them. He loved to fish and his happy place was at the Cabin in the woods outside of Patoka Lake. As per his wishes, his ashes will be spread at the Cabin and at his favorite spots in the waters of Patoka Lake. Zachary had a lifelong love of animals. There were always cats around the family home. In recent years, he loved and cared for his dogs, Peanut, Dozier and Stevie. Because of this love, the family request memorial contributions be made to Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal Street, Anderson, Indiana 46012. A Memorial Service will be 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Mark Shaner officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. The love and compassion that has been extended to Michael, Paula, Jarek and Kristen has been over whelming and they will be forever grateful. Rest in Peace Zachary and forever watch over those who have been left behind.
