Zachary Aaron Coleman

June 25, 1990 — February 29, 2020

Zach Coleman, 29, of Anderson passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020.He was born June 25, 1990 in Anderson where he lived for most of his life.Zach was a heavy equipment operator for Mammoth Inc. of Fortville. He enjoyed many things including motocross, skateboarding, four wheeling, shooting and fishing. Zach never knew a stranger and loved everyone he met. He truly was a gypsy at heart. Being a consistent life of the party, you could guarantee that he would be the one to make you laugh or smile. He deeply loved his family and had his ornery ways of expressing it. You could often count on him to purposefully get on your nerves, switching up just in time to spare himself, and make you smile a big one too. Zach, was a lover of nature and found peace in drawing and painting. His adventurous spirit and natural agility made him effortlessly excel at things like skateboarding, and bmx during his younger days. There wasn’t a four wheeler he could face plant off of and not hop right up and get back on. He had a natural skill for accomplishing any job he set his mind to, and was quick to help others however he could. He truly was a man of many talents, with a huge heart. He wanted to see smiles on every face he encountered, and he would be quick to say, “you better turn that frown upside down!”The love Zach had for his children will forever envelope them as they grow through life. It’s just that strong. He was a phenomenal uncle who adored his nephew, and he loved his sister with a genuineness that far exceeds the definition of rare. Often times, if you saw Zach, you knew Amber wasn’t too far behind. Zach’s love for his parents could never be missed. He was a strong man who still melted at the sight of his mom, and looked forward to those good porch conversations with his dad after a day of working together.Of all of the things mentioned here, his many more qualities could continue on and on in thousands of words. He was a blessing. He was a bright light who has now found his place with the stars, shining brighter than he ever has. Survivors include his two sons, Kadence Coleman of Albany and Corbin Coleman of Anderson; mother, Cassi Crane of Wolcottville; father, Sean (Tia) Coleman of Frankton; sister, Amber Crane of Anderson; step brother, Cody Cox of Frankton; grandparents, Ron and Toni Coleman of Hagerstown and Sandi Crane of Anderson; nephew, Leland Flowers of Anderson and several aunts and uncles. A private family gathering and service to celebrate Zach’s life will be held at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts and contributions may be made to Zach’s family to assist them with expenses and education funding for his sons.
