Wilmagene Beeman, 93, of Anderson, passed away peacefully at her residence, on November 19, 2018. She was born February 19, 1925, in Lapel to the late Herschel and Ethel (Hooper) Widener. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1943 and worked at Delco-Remy from 1943 to 1987. She was active in the ABWA (American Business Woman’s Association) serving as treasure, secretary, vice president and president. She loved to play golf and had attended the Bethany Christian Church. She loved family, friends, and lived her life to the fullest. She was the best mother, mother-in-law, grandma, and great grandma, who never met a stranger and was welcoming to all. She is survived by her children, Michael (Pam) Beeman, Richard (Connie) Beeman, Patrick Beeman, Sharon (Rodney) Riggs, Gary (Lisa) Beeman, Nancy Buntin and Lisa (Shad) Old; 15 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother and sisters, Howard Widener, Eloise Hensley and Marjorie Beeman. Service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Bob Bell officiating. Entombment will follow at Elm Ridge Cemetery.
