Wilma R. Mccormick

Wilma R. McCormick, 85, of Anderson passed away on August 10, 2018 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born in McMinnville, Tenn. on December 13, 1932 and lived most of her life in Muncie. Wilma retired from Ball State University where she worked in Food Service at Woodworth Hall and worked in their family business at McCormick Heating and Air in Muncie. She is survived by two sons, Dan (Terrie) McCormick of Muncie and Mike McCormick (girlfriend, Maxine Baird) of Muncie; daughter, Robin (Chris) Phillips of Anderson; five grandchildren, Mariah Johnson (Don), Kristal Drake (Dave), Daniel McCormick, Chad McCormick, Taylor Bowlin; four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester R. McCormick and grandson, Jarred McCormick. Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 20, 2018, in the Chapel at Gardens of Memory in Muncie with Minister Carl Williams officiating. Entombment will follow the service. Family and friends will gather in the Chapel at 1:30 p.m. before the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
