Wilma P. Cottrell, 89, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Lindberg Crossing, Anderson. She was born on February 13, 1928 in Washington, Indiana to the late Roy and Eunice (Clark) Mattingly. Wilma retired as an office manager for various small businesses in the Anderson area. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and a life member of A.B.W.A… She loved to crochet, bake cakes, and especially loved and enjoyed all of her grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Wilma is survived by her son, Roy D. Cottrell of Anderson; grandchildren; Carmen (Jeff) Hall of Anderson, Kristen (Jeff) Suter of Virginia, Wesley (Leah) Cottrell of Anderson; great grandchildren; Caleb (Brittney) Hall, Dakota Hall, Michael (Melaney) Suter, Cory Cottrell, Benjamin Cottrell, Abigail Heffernan, Justin Cottrell; great-great grandchildren, Caroline and Dexter Hall; brother, James (Jodi) Mattingly. Several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded by her husband, Norman D. Cottrell; siblings, Faye Lamb, Ruth Agnes Manback, Roy Joseph Mattingly, Earl Mattingly, John Mattingly, Charles Mattingly, Wayne Mattingly, and Norma Jones. Services will be Friday at 12:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013 with Father Daniel Shine officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Visitation will be on Friday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm .
