Wilma F. Bowmer

Wilma F. Bowmer, 78, of Pendleton, passed away June 6, 2018 at her residence. She was born, August 20, 1939, in Hartsville Tenn., and has lived in Madison County most of her life. Wilma, with her husband Doug, owned the Interstate Auto Auction since 1986, the Richmond Auto Auction since 1990 and Doug Bowmer Auto Sales since 2015. She enjoyed traveling in their motor home and wintering in Florida. However, it was being able to spend time with her family and grandkids that she especially enjoyed. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Doug Bowmer Sr.; her three children, Doug (Angie) Bowmer Jr., Jeffery (Terri) Bowmer and Wanda (Scott) Wooldridge; grandchildren, Doug Bowmer, Drew Bowmer, Kayla ( Michael) Hutcherson, Tyler ( Carly) Bowmer, Alex Wooldridge, and Sydney Wooldridge; and great grandchildren, Weston Bowmer, Raylynn Bowmer, Cooper Bowmer and Abigail Hutcherson. Wilma was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Bowmer; and a daughter in law, Angie Bowmer. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Rick Cochran officiating. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
