Willis W. Hogue, 76, of Anderson, passed away June 15, 2015 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
Willis was born March 30, 1939, in East Prairie, Missouri to the late James and Etta (Morrow) Hogue.
He was an Army veteran and had worked for the former Nicholson File Co. and RCA in Marion before his retirement. Willis enjoyed playing his guitar and singing, body building, camping, fishing and playing cards with his family.
He is survived by his children, Sharon Sparks of Corydon, Karen Hogue-Smith, John (Genene Blades) Hogue, Silas Hogue, Telly (Kevin) Rinker all of Anderson, Kerri (Shellie Smith) Hogue of Yorktown; grandchildren, Tony (Nikki), Mahaley (Shawn), Jansen (Hayley), Darcy (Cord), Spencer, Juliene, Kirstin, London, Logan, Woody (Dani) and Kayla; 14 great grandchildren, with another one due in September; brothers, Carson (Dora) Hogue, Frank (Johnnie) Hogue, Willard Hogue, Buel (Shirley) Hogue; and a sister, Becky (Dustin) Smith.
Willis was preceded in death by daughters; Bonita and Darcy Hogue; brother, Buford Hogue; and a sister, Reba Boswell.
Services will be 1 p.m., Thursday, at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Justin Stough officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery with military honors by VFW Post 266.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
Memorials may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
