William Lewis Northcutt

William Lewis Northcutt, 79, of Anderson, passed away on July 24, 2021 at Countryside Manor in Anderson. He was born on January 5, 1942 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to the late John and Nannie (Jones) Northcutt. William graduated in 1960 from Cynthiana High School with Letters in football, basketball, and baseball. He attended Asbury College in Wilmore, Kentucky for one year and Ball State University. William retired from General Motors in 1998 after 33 years of service. He was an avid sport fan for the University of Kentucky basketball, Cincinnati Bengals, and Cincinnati Reds. He is survived by his son, John Robert (Ruby) Northcutt; grandchildren, Philip and Amanda, and several great grandchildren. He had a deep affection for animals and provided caring homes for some throughout his life. He liked to travel and learn about the world. He will be sadly missed by family and friends. Cremation will take place with burial at Battle Grove Cemetery in Cynthiana, Kentucky. Arrangements entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
