William H. "Bill" Lewis, 73, Anderson, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2004, at Parrish Medical Center Titusville, Florida following a sudden illness.
He was born on September 19, 1930, in Lapel, Indiana to Ray and Lucille (Cast) Lewis. He retired in 1994 from Delco Remy after 44 years of employment and he was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church. He was a dedicated family man and a animal lover. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ann (McIntire) Lewis; three children, Daniel (wife, Melanie) Lewis of Lapel, Dee (husband, George) Hudson of Chattanooga, TN, and Jack (wife, Lori) Lewis of Anderson; one brother, Jack (wife, Jean) Lewis of Anderson; one sister, Carolyn (husband, Cleo) Roseberry of Anderson; five grandchildren, Bryan Lewis, Casey (husband, Shawn) Wayman, Jaime (husband, Jeff) Sandefur, Jared (fiance, Kim) Hudson, and Jayla Lewis; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday at Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery, Lapel where the Lapel American Legion Post 212 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday at the Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ford Street United Methodist Church, P. O.
