William Edward Rodgers II, known as Buddy or Budman, age 59, passed away on March 13, 2021 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.He was born on November 30, 1961 to William (Ed) and Elaine Rodgers of Lapel.Buddy will be remembered for his love of family, the outdoors, music (all types), poetry, Tolkien, flowers, landscaping and his artistic and mechanical abilities. He was "stubborn" and "set in his ways," but Buddy loved to do little things to make people smile.He is survived by his 3 sons William (Ed) and (Rachel) Rodgers, Dwight Rodgers, and Dillon Rodgers of Maryland; 2 grandsons William (Will) and Addison (Addy) Rodgers; 2 sisters Connie Power of Anderson, IN and Sherry McGraw of Florida; and 3 nieces Alyssha (Brian) McCarthy of Anderson, Amanda (Scott) of Lapel, and Tia Green of Greentown. As well as several great nieces, nephews, and cousins.He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Margaret (Maggie) Philbert, and cousin Jeff Rodgers.Cremation will take place and a burial of ashes will be held at a later date.Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home has been entrusted to the services for Buddy.Online Condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
