William Dean Schmollinger

William Dean "Smug" Schmollinger, 86, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018, in Tavares, Florida.
Bill was born to Clarence and Freda (Sigman) Schmollinger on May 26, 1932, in Clarksville.
He was a graduate of Noblesville High School Class of 1950 and he served in the U. S. Army from 1950 to 1954.
Bill worked for Irving Material, Boram Crop Service, A & C Trucking and in later years, Harger Farms.
He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Nancy Lee (Beebe); a daughter, Debra Morris of Hartland, Michigan; three sons, Dean (Mindi) Schmollinger of Noblesville, Steve (Sandy) Schmollinger of Anderson, and Tod Schmollinger of Noblesville; six grandchildren, Drew, Reed, Shelby, Ryan, and Bryce Schmollinger, and Erik Morris; two great-grandchildren, Kylie and Emma Schmollinger; three step-children, Barbara Campbell, Mike, Doug, and Phil Beebe; six step-grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Mallory, Madison, Mark, and Faye; and five step-great-grandchildren, Mycah, Maise, Trey, Natalie and Drew.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Miriam Webb and Karen Schmollinger; and a grandson, Will Schmollinger.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
Visitation will be 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Indiana Heart Association
