William "Bill" Bunnell

William "Bill" Bunnell, 58, of Lapel, passed away on Monday, April 14, 2025, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born on July 18, 1966, in Anderson, Indiana to Robert "Bob" and Betty (Huffman) Bunnell. He was a 1984 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School. He owned and operated Bunnell Construction.

He was a member of Ford Street United Methodist Church. He enjoyed watching racing and loved attending the Indy car races, especially the Indy 500. He loved his work. He also loved his family deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.

William is survived by his wife, Ericka (Johnson) Bunnell; his parents, Robert and Betty Bunnell; four brothers, Bob (wife, Becky) Bunnell of Ingalls, Dr. Travis (wife, Brittany) Bunnell of Pendleton, Trent (wife, Angela) Bunnell of Colorado and Thomas (wife, Misty) Bunnell of Fortville; several nieces and nephews; and his loving dogs, Coda and Kiaayo.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Anna Bunnell and maternal grandparents, Don and Catherine Huffman.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 22, 2025, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lapel Chapel, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Jesse Flood officiating. Cremation will follow.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, at the funeral home.
