William “Bill” Lukens, 81, of Pendleton, passed away June 1, 2019 following an extended illness.He was born May 26, 1938 in Anderson, the son of the late Frank and Opal (McShurley) Lukens and lived in the area his entire life. Bill worked as a Television Salesman and Department Manager for Sears-Roebuck for 28 years. He then became a real estate broker and appraiser and worked until he became ill.Bill is survived by his son, Gregory Lukens, of Spain; daughter, Janalee Lukens, of Muncie; grandchildren, Diego Lukens and Natalia Lukens; brother, David (Carol) Lukens, of Anderson; nephews, Todd (Linda) Lukens, of Indianapolis and Troy Lukens of Lapel; and his previous spouse and mother of Gregory and Janalee, Loretta Lukens.He was preceded in death by his sister-in-law, Linda Lukens; and nephew, Thomas Lukens.A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Wednesday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, Lahm Chapel with Pastor Tom Malbone officiating.Visitation will be 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society, 2219 Crystal St, Anderson, IN 46012.
