William A. Walters

William A. Walters, 74, of Carrabelle, FL passed away May 5, 2015 at his residence after an extended illness.

He was born in Anderson on July 11, 1940, to the late Howard and Irene (Key) Walters. He worked assembly at Delco-Remy and was a member of Local #662.

William is survived by his wife, Nancy Walters of Carrabelle, FL; sons, David Walters and Richard Walters, both of Seymour; grandson, Logan Walters of Anderson; great-grandson, Eli Walters of Middletown; and two sisters, Carolyn Fish and Janet Vanderbur.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Natalie Barkdull and Mary Louise McKinney.

Services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Rev. Maynard Powell officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sixth Street Christian Church, Middletown, or the charity of the donor’s choice.
