Wesley O. Williams

Wesley O. "Wes" Williams, 57, Fishers, passed away Sunday, October 26, 2014, at his home following an extended illness. He was born on March 8, 1957, in Logansport, Indiana to Ted and Marie (Wastel) Williams. He graduated from Lapel High School in 1975 and had served in the U. S. Air Force. Wesley retired in 2006 from Excel Technical services in Fishers. He was an active member in Alcoholics Annonymus and an active donor to the D.A.V. He was also an avid Colts, Pacers, and I.U. fan He is survived by three children, Chris (wife, Yoryanela) Williams of Carmel, Valerie (husband, Chris) Monday of Indianapolis, and Stephanie Haywood of Columbus; two grandchildren, Kaylei and Gavin Monday; his father, Ted Williams of Danville, VA; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother; a brother, Kevin Williams; and his son-in-law, Rodger Haywood. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans.
