had Warren A. Somerville, 79, Middletown, passed away Friday, October 9, 2015, at Monticello House in Anderson following an extended battle with Parkinson Disease. He was born on January 8, 1936, in Cherry Tree, Pennsylvania to Horace and Ruby (Sebring) Somerville. He was a veteran of the United States Army and had served during the Korean War. Warren had been employed by the former Montgomery Ward store in Anderson and then owned and operated Tri-County Appliance Service until his retirement. He was a member of the Pendleton Christian Church. He is survived by two sons, John A.(wife, Debbie)Somerville of Anderson and William L. (wife, Sheila) Somerville of Youngsville, NC; three granddaughters, Kaleigh (husband, Steve) Oleksiak of Toledo, OH, Emily Somerville(fiance, Logan Wyant) of Colorado Springs, CO, and Holly Somerville of Anderson; one brother Ken Somerville of Ohio; one sister, Marilyn (husband, Charlie) Grove of Antes Fort, Pennsylvania; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers Dean, Bliss, Bob Somerville and Melvin Leamer. A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Jay Harvey officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. Memorial contributions may be made to Pendleton Christian Church, 1170 South Pendleton Avenue, Pendleton, Indiana 46064.
