Wanetta T Edgerly

Wanetta T. Edgerly, 86, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2020, at Five Star Senior Living in Noblesville following an extended illness.She was born on October 7, 1933, in Edmore, Michigan to Emerson Harkness and Ellen (Beer) Harkness.Wanetta was graduated from Edmore High School.She was a Homemaker, she also helped her husband in his business as his office manager.Wanetta enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, and playing cards. Wanetta had the true gift of hospitality. She was a member of the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. She was also a 50 year member of the Profit and Pleasure Homemakers Club.She is survived by children, Nancy (Kelly) Wiseman of Anderson, Kathy (Richard) Barker of Noblesville, and Frank (Kathy) Edgerly of Indianapolis; brothers, Tom (Patsy) Harkness, Edward (Kimberly) Harkness; sisters, Mary (Jim) Brown, and Audrie (John) Jorgensen; brother in law, Keith Sanderson; grandchildren, Rob (Debbie), Andy (Bridgette), Joe (Krista) Barker, Luke (Brittany), Nick (Sarah) Wiseman, and David Edgerly; 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Wanetta was preceded in death by her parents; husband Ronald Edgerly; and a sister, Betty Sanderson.A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Pastor Brian Marler officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Memorial Cemetery, Noblesville.Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to Third Phase Inc., 15755 Allisonville Rd.
