Wanda J. Robinette Chevalier, 88, Anderson, passed away December 23, 2018, at Rawlins House in Pendleton after an extended illness. She was born August 24, 1930, in Elwood, the daughter of the late William and Tessie Coty. She had lived in Ft. Wayne, New Port Richey and Holiday, Florida for 30 years before moving to Anderson. Wanda is survived by her daughter, Brenda (Tim) Allred; grandsons, Josh Allred and Joe Allred all of Pendleton; son, Douglas Lee Robinette; grandchildren, Chad Robinette of Florida & Jill Robinette Fausnaugh of Fort Wayne; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, RoseMary Heiser of Lafountain and Karen “Sue” Talbott of Marion; two brothers-in-law Ralph Heiser and James Vinson and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl Douglas Robinette in 1971 and her second husband, Dr. Arthur B. Chevalier in 2009; two sisters, Dorothy Vinson and Helen Jo Denny; one brother, William “Billy” Coty. Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, December 29, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory with Pastor Lee Witman officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 50 East 91th St., Indianapolis, IN 46240.
