Wanda Anderson

Wanda Anderson, 77, Noblesville, passed away peacefully Monday, May 10, 2010, at home in the company of her loving family following an extended illness.
She was born on September 25, 1932, in Anderson, Indiana to William and Margaret (Wynant) Nicholson.
She graduated from Anderson High School in 1951.
Wanda attended Trinity United Methodist Church; the Prairie Farmerettes Home Ec Club; the Chat-A-While Club; and she enjoyed her monthly euchre games with close friends for over 50 years;
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Dwight Wayne Anderson; two daughters, Gail (husband, James) Kurtz of Kalamazoo, MI and Nancy (husband, Jon) Anderson of Carmel; five grandchildren, Amanda and Christopher Kurtz, and Elizabeth "Elie", Clayton, and Allison Anderson; two sisters Marilyn Masters and Linda Parisi both of Anderson; and many dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, William LaRue Nicholson.
As a young girl, she dreamed of marrying a farmer and living the farm life. Her lifes dreams were fulfilled and exceeded. She loved the farm life and being a housewife. Her greatest achievement was being a devoted companion to her husband; a loving daughter to her parents; and a caring, generous mother to her children and grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm Sunday, May 16, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Russell Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Saturday, May 15, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
