Wallace Marcum, 78, Pendleton, passed away on September 8, 2020 at Rawlins House in Pendleton. He was born in Inez, Kentucky on August 22, 1942 to the late John and Flora (Short) Marcum.Wallace had worked for Grenell Plastics. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved all of his grandson and all of his great grandchildren and enjoyed watching old westerns.He is survived by his wife, Dorthea (Womeldorf) Marcum of Pendleton; step-children, Catherine Marcum of Pendleton, Frank (Sue) Rosenbaum of Fortville; brothers, Paul Marcum Jr., Ray Dean Marcum; grandson, William (Lisa) Marcum; great grandchildren, Matthew, Destinee, Kayla Marcum; great great-granddaughter, Sophia Cox, and several nieces and nephews.Wallace was preceded in death by his parents; children, Kelly Marcum, Marie Marcum, Danielle Marcum; step-son William Rosenbaum; siblings, Gladys Marcum, Clifford Marcum, Leroy Marcum, James Marcum and Cleveland Marcum.Services will be held on Friday at 1:00 pm at Wilson St. Pierre – Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, IN 46064 with burial at Gravel Lawn Cemetery.Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.Due to COVID-19 we ask that masks be worn and social distancing be observed.
