Virginia Madeline Reed

V. Madeline Reed, 90, of Anderson, passed away July 10, 2017 at St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital. She was born on June 1, 1927 in Arcadia, Indiana to the late J. Cecil and Katherine (Wilson) Jordan. She was a homemaker and was employed at Coresource, Inc.for seven years. She attended Southern Heights Christian Church and was a member of Bethany Christian Church. Madeline is survived by her daughters; Patricia Ann (Paul) Bucher of Pendleton, Judith Ann(Gary Smith, deceased) Smith of Pendleton; four grandchildren, Dana Ann (Drew) Haram, Lynn Ann (Tyson) Priest, Rebecca Ann (Brock) Findlay, Beth Ann (Shaun) Williams; ten great-grandchildren, Jeremiah and Isaiah Priest; Joshua and Aliyah Haram; Eliza, Hunter, Harrison and Harper Findlay; Ella and Eastyn Williams. Several nieces and nephews survive. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, W. Robert Reed; siblings, Paul, Howard, Ray, and James Jordan, and Bernice Sholty. The family would like to thank Countryside Manor and St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital and Hospice for their loving care. Services will be on Friday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service, 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson, IN 46013 with Pastor Tyson Priest and Kent Stookey officiating. Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 to 2:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
