Virginia L. Babb

Virginia Lou Babb, 93, of Anderson, passed away on December 10, 2024 at Rawlins House. Virginia was born on October 14, 1931 in Madison County, Indiana to the late Clarence and Anna Marie (Wedding) Handy. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1949.After graduation, she began working at the Anderson Public Library, as did her mom before her.

Virginia will be dearly missed by her children, Reah Hall, Anne Albea, and Jaime (David Pennington) Babb; daughter-in-law, Denisa Babb; grandchildren, Christopher Babb, Sarah Hunt, Amanda Albea, Nadine (David Streeter), Kaitlyn Babb, Kyle Babb, Jason (Shyanne) Scharnowski, and Jessica Scharnowski; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Babb; son, David Babb; daughter-in-law, Gudrun Babb; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Cremation rites have been accorded. Virginia's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
