Violet L. Hester

Violet L. Hester, 84, passed away, July 12, 2016 at her daughter’s residence in Middletown.

She was born March 11, 1932 in Anderson, the daughter of the late Marshall and Lillian (May) Brown and was a homemaker.

She is survived by her children, George Hester, of New Castle; Cathy Rule of Los Vegas Nev., Debbie Keeley of Middletown; grandchildren, David Keeley, Darsey Ebbert, Stacy Brown, Angie Hester, Bryan (Stephane) Keeley, Danny (Pam) Hester, Donita Hester; 19 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George Hester in 1995; two brothers, Bobby Brown, Milo Brown; Three sisters, Audery Shelton and Helen Gene Joyce and Nancy McVay.

Services will be 11a.m. Monday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Funeral Service & Crematory. Burial will follow at Park View Cemetery in Alexandria.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Humane Society.
