Vinicio Ruiz

Vinicio Ruiz, 82, Anderson, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2020, at his residence in Anderson following an extended illness.He was born on May 18, 1938, in the Dominican Republic to Dionicio Ruiz and Isabel (Ruiz) Ruiz.He was a Layman/Evangelist for many years in the Dominican Republic, Seventh-Day Adventist Church.Vinicio was a member of the Anderson Seventh-Day Adventist Hispanic Church. He is survived by his wife, Sonia Mejia Ruiz of Anderson; children, David (Jiovanny) Ruiz, Bethania (Giovanni) Gallardo, Japhet (Rosemary) Ruiz, Joel Ruiz, and Gerard Ruiz; brother, Jose Ruiz; sisters, Marina Encarnacion, and Casilda Ruiz; grandchildren, Rachel, Rebecah, Sarah, Jay-Japhet, and Angelina. Vinicio was also survived by many nieces and nephews. Vinicio was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.A funeral service will be held at 6:30 PM on Monday, December 14, 2020, at the Anderson Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1122 West 8th St. Anderson, Indiana 46016. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Monday at the church.
Health precautions for the safety of the family and visitors will include wearing face coverings and social distancing at all times.
