Vickie D. Hardin

Vickie D. Hardin, 64, passed away in her sleep on April 20, 2015 after an extended illness, and Heaven gained another angel.
She was born May 5, 1950 in Anderson, the daughter of Judith and Wilbur Beckner. She graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1968.
Vickie enjoyed spending time with family, the everlasting card games of hand and foot, and absolutely any chance to go to the casino. She had a special bond with her grandchildren, especially Haili and Austin. She also completely adored her great-grandchildren, Avery and Desmond.
She will be greatly missed, but her love and light will shine on in all of us she leaves behind.
Vickie is survived by her son, Robert J. (Carla) Hagmaier of Wilder, TN; daughter, Gwendolyn D. (Matthew J. Clark) Graham of Anderson; grandchildren, Haili Harrison, Austin Hagmaier, Koralyn Hagmaier, Paris Hagmaier, Brook Hawkins and Boyce Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Avery Paschal and Desmond Hagmaier; mother; siblings, Dewenia (Ray) Ellis, Rebecca Johnson and Doug (Dawn) Beckner; and many nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins; and her fur-baby, Coco.
She was preceded in death by her father and her nephew, Joe Ellis
A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Friday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory with Pastor Ray Ellis officiating.
Visitation will be 1-2pm Friday.
