Vera Musselman

Vera Musselman, 89, Noblesville, passed to her heavenly home Sunday, October 26, 2014, at her home following a brief illness. She was born on August 9, 1925, in Madison County, Indiana to Glenn and Maude (Gunn) Maggart. She graduated from Walnut Grove High School in 1943 and received a associate's from Indiana Business College. Vera worked 10 years in the accounts receivable office at the former Delco Remy division of General Motors in Anderson. She was a homemaker and assisted her husand in farming. She was a member of Prairie Baptist Church where she was church secretary and general fund church treasurer along with her husband for 32 years. She also served on the church mission board, nursery superintendent, church choir, ladies mission circle, and various committees. She was a member of the Noblesville Senior Citizens Organization. She is survived by two children, Carol Jean (husband, Kevin) Clark of Limestone, TN and Rex A. Musselman of Noblesville; four grandchildren, Joe Clark and Jennifer (husband, Ethan) Morrison of Cicero, and Drew and Jeffrey Musselman of Noblesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Clifford F. Musselman whom she married October 30, 1948; a brother, Newell Maggart; and three sisters, Bonita Jean Maggart, Mary Beck, and Carmen O'Brien; and a daughter-in-law, Christine Musselman. A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Prairie Baptist Church in rural Noblesville with Pastors Stephen Passmore and Russ Irwin officiating. Burial will follow in Crownland Cemetery, Noblesville. Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, October 31, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Prairie Baptist Church, 14790 East 206th Street, Noblesville, Indiana 46060.
