Trevon James Luke

Trevon James Luke, 21, passed away on October 27, 2023 at his residence in Middletown, Indiana. Trevon was born on February 11, 2002 in Anderson. He attended Pendleton Heights High School and graduated from the Excel Center in Anderson. He worked as a union laborer for Poindexer Excavating and was a member of the Local #1112 union. He loved working on cars and fixing just about everything and helping anyone that needed it in any way he could. He always liked to stay busy. He also enjoyed playing video games, working with animals, and riding four-wheelers. He was a 10 year member of Madison County 4H and was in shooting sports, Horse and Pony, Rabbit and Chicken clubs. He played several sports growing up including Upwards Basketball and attended youth group at Markleville North Christian Church.

Trevon will be dearly missed by his mother, Jessica Summers, of Markleville; his father Jimmy Luke, of Arizona; his sister, Airiana Summers of Markleville, and her father, Jeffery Summers of Anderson; his Pa, Imon Bankson (Linda Kreigh); of Markleville; and his aunt, Shelly Bankson, of Yorktown, several cousins, and extended family; his best friend Trevor Wells, of Middletown; and many other close friends that he considered family.

Trevon was preceded in death by his Grammy, Anita Bankson, of Markleville; his Nana, Reba Wheatly, of Pendleton; his Uncle Bub, Abner Bankson, of Moonsville; and his Mamaw and Papaw, George and Frances Shuck, of Pendleton.

A celebration of life will be held on November 6, 2023 from 5-7 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring followed by a memorial service with Reverend Randy Holland officiating.
