Tom W. “Tommy” Linville

Tom “Tommy” W. Linville, 82, went to his heavenly home on Wednesday, February 21^st, 2024 at Summit Health & Living with his wife and family.  Tommy was born in Somerset, KY to the late James and Dorothy (Roberts) Linville on September 20, 1941.

He graduated from Anderson High School in 1959.  Tommy loved to play golf, and work in his yard.  He was also a fan of IU basketball and the Indianapolis Colts.

Tom is survived by his loving wife, Gail Linville, they were married in 1990; Tom and Karen were blessed with 3 children; daughters, Shawn Smith, and Dee (Rick) Copeland; son, Thomas Jason (TJ); bonus daughter, Jamie (Tom) Hause; granddaughter, Danielle (Jimmy) Smith; great granddaughter, Olivia; sister-in-law, Joyce Heflin and brother-in-law  Brad (Gloria) Jones and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jimmy Linville; sister, Linda (Bill) Diehl; in-laws, Baxter and Ina Jones; brother in-laws, Chuck and Jerry, and several aunts and uncles.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory, 515 E 53rd St., Anderson, IN.
