Tobitha June Mcdole

Tobitha June "Toby" McDole, 79, Greenfield, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2015, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield following a brief illness. She was born on October 21, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Willard and Tobitha Jane (Oakerson) Barrett. Toby was a member of the New Life Christian Fellowship in Fortville and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by five children, Tina (husband, Dennis) Beatrice of Fort Wayne, Nina Kay (husband, Curtis) Clack of Spring City, TN, Diana Lynn Lasley of Bald Knob, AR, Andrea (husband, Bobbie) Evans of Greenfield, and Andrew Gene (wife, Raye Ann) McDole, Jr. of Ingalls; 18 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; two brothers, Willard (wife, Nancy) Barrett of Michigan and David (wife, Kathy) Barrett of Greenfield; and one sister, Sondra Blakely of Noblesville. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Andrew Gene McDole; a son, Willard McDole; one sister, Mary Amanda Barrett; and one brother, James Oakerson Barrett. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Mark Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Wednesday, September 9, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
