Thomas 'Wayne' Metzger

Thomas "Wayne" Metzger, 71, of Pendleton, passed away Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at Community Hospital of Anderson following a brief illness.He was born November 20, 1950, in Noblesville, Indiana to Lester Metzger and Hester (Sides) Metzger .Wayne graduated from Lapel High School.He worked as a courier for several different companies.Wayne was a faithful member of St. George Orthodox Church in Fishers, Indiana. Wayne enjoyed spending time with family and friends and discussing topics of the Christian Faith.He is survived by his siblings, Robert (Susan) Metzger of Lapel, Gerald (Kathy) Metzger of Noblesville, Marilyn (Eldon) Garber of Pendleton, Margaret (Roger) Garber of PA, Patricia (Jesse) Riffey of WI, John Metzger of Indianapolis, and Bill (Beth) Metzger of Lapel. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Marillis RichardsonA funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with V. Rev. Fr. Anthony G. Yazge officiating.
