Thomas “Tom” Scott Hall

PENDLETON – Thomas “Tom” Scott Hall, 61, passed away at home on March 30, 2022. Tom was born on August 15, 1960, in Anderson, IN, and was a lifelong resident of the Pendleton area. He graduated from Pendleton Heights High School in 1978 and then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1983. He had a lifelong career in the automotive industry, further fueling his passion for cars.Tom was a proud dad who reveled in his kids’ interests and accomplishments. He never missed a ball game or a choir performance. He was such a kind, gentle soul with a deep love for his dogs. He was a genuine, compassionate and loyal friend, and maintained many lifelong friendships. He was constantly putting others ahead of himself. There was never a project he couldn’t tackle, and he was always the first to offer help to anyone in need. Tom is survived by his wife of 34 years, Dania (Leyva) Hall; daughter, Julia (Levi Partin) Hall; son, Thomas (Chantal Kimmerling) Hall; grandson, Carter Hall; brothers, Rick (Linda) Hall and Mike (Chris) Hall; several nieces and nephews; and his dog, Shelby.Tom was proceeded in death by his parents, Charles I. “Charlie” and Monica C. (Dunkman) Hall; bruncle, Paul Dunkman; and his beloved dogs, Maggie, Ella and Tink. A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton with Pastor Claude Creel officiating.
