Thomas Jay Pruitt

Thomas Jay Pruitt 52, Anderson passed away November 17, 2021 at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, following an extended illness.Jay was born August 1, 1969, in Muncie, Indiana to Elmer Pruitt and Linda (Dixon) Pruitt.Jay graduated from Wapahani High School in Selma.He retired after 10 years as a Truck Driver for Super Service and R and L.Jay was a member of the Eagles, and loved art. He enjoyed painting and watching TV.He is survived by his wife Laura Pruitt of Anderson; children, Justin Young, John Young, Jeremy Young, Jesse Young, and Crystal Young; 9 grandchildren; brother, Trevor J. Pruitt; nephew, Dustin Pruitt; and several friends.Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.Jays wishes were to be cremated and services at later date.Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, have been entrusted with the arrangements of Jay.Online condolences: www.hersbergerbozell.com
