Thomas A. “Tom” Buczyna

Thomas “Tom” A. Buczyna, 65, passed away at his sister’s residence on January 22, 2024. He was born October 27, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to Stanley and Catherine (Basic) Buczyna. He graduated in 1976 from St. Rita High School in Chicago. He retired as a steel worker from Metal-Matic in Chicago. He enjoyed hockey and football. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews.

He will be dearly missed by his sister, Maureen (Joe) Lambert of Anderson; nephew, Kevin Lambert of Manhattan, IL; nieces, Karrie (Mike) Kliros of Manhattan, IL and Kimberly Hospes of Mokena, IL; great-nephews, Kameron Lambert, Reilly Kliros, and Keegan Lambert; and great-nieces, Elizabeth Hospes and Emily Hospes. He was also survived by his special pup, Callie.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place and memorial services will be held at a later date in Illinois.
