Therese Darlene King

Therese Darlene King, 74, of Anderson, passed away Saturday, September 18, 2021, at her residence in Anderson following a brief illness.She was born on August 31, 1947, in Indianapolis, Indiana to LeRoy McManama and Monty (Snyder) Roame.Therese most of her life was primarily a homemaker. Throughout her lifetime she worked many different jobs including; factory work, housekeeping, and kitchen work. She also enjoyed working with her daughters and her husband at one time.She loved to gamble and go to the casino. Therese loved spending time and going out to eat with her family and friends.Therese is survived by her three daughters, Tammy Peters, Cynthia Kaelber (Larry), and Dora Riley; One son, Joe Riley; One brother, Ronnie McManama; two sisters, Penelope McManama and Diana (Randall) Rich; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.Therese was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Rick McManama.A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana 46051, with Rev. Mike Weller officiating.
