Thelma L. Miller

Thelma L. Miller, of Anderson, went home to be with Jesus on October 25, 2023. She was born on September 21 in Muncie to the late Elijah “Bud” and Mary (King) Osborne. Thelma loved the Lord, she loved spending time with her family. She was always excited to spend the winter in Florida. She always enjoyed it when her husband Dale would personally sing to her, and the one she always loved to hear was “You are my sunshine”.

Thelma will be dearly missed by her husband, Dale Miller; son, Dale “Dean” (Dawn) Miller Jr.; daughters, Kandi (Eddie) Hewson, and Rene’e Smith; daughter-in-law Donna Miller; brother, Darrell “Skip” Osborne; Grandchildren, Shawna Stinson, Kristen Stinson (Joe Goldsborough), Brandon (Laura) Miller, Lindsay (Jerry) Buckner, Dustin Smith, Ashley (Jon) Riegler, Tiffany Miller (Rich Crandall), Desire’e Smith, Cody (Elizabeth) Miller, Zach (Karol) Hewson, Darius Smith, Abby (Garrett) Acevedo; great grandchildren, Phoebe Stephens, Phoenix Stephens, Brandon Miller Jr., Olivia Miller, Aiden Riegler, Naomi Riegler, Mathew Riegler, Clary Riegler, Lily Riegler, Scarlett Miller, Zane Hewson, Kenzie Hewson; brother-in-law Michael Wimmer, sister-in-laws Mary Lou Osborne, Billie Osborne, and Lena Rangel, many special nieces and nephews, cousins and special friends, Linda Burton, Linda Roy, and Linda Russell.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bud Miller; brothers, Charles Osborne, Gene Osborne, Leroy Osborne, Kenneth Osborne, and infant brother, Francis Wayne Osborne; sisters, Donetta Schirmer, Marilyn Clidinst, and Barbara Wimmer.

The visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Thursday, November 2, 2023, New Hope Trinity Church, 405 E. 39th St., Anderson, IN, 46013. The service will begin at 12:00 PM at the church. The service will be officiated by Rev. Landal Smith, Clifton Smith, and David McConnel. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery, 4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304.
