Terry V. "Slim" Earlywine, 67, Fishersburg, passed away Thursday, May 7, 2015, at his home following an extended illness. He was born on April 8, 1948, in Anderson, Indiana to Doyle and Irene (McDole) Earlywine. Terry he had been a truck driver for the former Fred's Frozen Foods in Noblesville and was also self-employed as a truck driver. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War. He enjoyed building models, going to car shows, camping, and horseback riding. He is survived by two sons, John Earlywine (fianc, Brittany Buchanan) of Fishersburg and Christopher (wife, Nicole) Earlywine of Texas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Teresa (husband, Tom) Morgan of Anderson and Sondra (husband, Mark) Hightower of Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother. Berry Earlywine. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel where the Lapel American Legion Post will conduct military graveside rites. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Friday, May 8, 2015, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
