Terry W. Allen Sr.

Terry W. Allen Sr., 75, of Pendleton, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent in Anderson. 

He was born on November 27, 1949, in Anderson, Indiana to Charlie M. and Edna Earlene (Smith) Allen. He was a 1967 graduate of Anderson High School. He served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He lived in Bowling Green, Kentucky for 20 years before returning to Pendleton.

He retired from General Motors, Corvette Division in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He was a member of the Pendleton American Legion Post 117. He loved spending time with his family and traveling. He enjoyed watching NASCAR.

Terry is survived by his wife, Charlene (Powless) Allen; three children, Terry W. Allen Jr. of Anderson, Charity ( John Sepiol) Lawson of Indianapolis and Kelly (husband, Jeff) Barger of Pendleton; four grandchildren, Hunter (wife, Chloe) Barger, Chandler (Jordan Stillinger) Lawson, Kirby (husband, Luke) Groninger and Chase ( Maggie Herylki) Lawson; one great grandchild; two sisters, Sandy (husband, Don) Cooper and Charlene (husband, Jack) Eutsler both of Columbus, Indiana; and several nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Ron Allen Sr. 

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064. Military rites will be conducted by the Daleville American Legion Honor Guard at the funeral home following the service. Cremation will take place.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
