Teresa Parke

Teresa Parke, 59 of Anderson, passed away Nov. 10, 2015 at St Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital.

She was born June 27, 1956, in Anderson, the daughter of Clarence and Mary (Owens) Waldrep and has been a lifelong Anderson resident.

Teresa loved children and made a career of taking care of preschool children and teaching others to do so as well. She was very crafty and enjoyed making baskets and gardening and attended the Glad Tidings Church.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Waldrep of Anderson; her sons, Michael (Melissa) Parke, Thomas Parke Sr. both of Anderson; grandchildren, Thomas Parke Jr and Joshua Parke; brothers and sisters, Rick Owens, Beverly Griese, Terry (Vanessa) Waldrep, Kevin (Sherrie) Waldrep, Danny Waldrep, Shari (Kurt) Mullins, Carol (Jack) Taylor, and David (Charlene) Waldrep; several nieces and nephews; and friends, Teresa, Rhonda, and Sonya.

She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Waldrep.

Services will be 3 p.m on Sunday at the Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service and Crematory, 515 East 53rd St. Anderson, with Pastor Jim Stout officiating. Cremation will follow the ceremonies.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the funeral service on Sunday
