Teresa Jill Trueblood

Teresa Jill Trueblood, 63, of Anderson, Indiana passed away October 3, 2017 at Community Hospital in Anderson following an extended illness. She was born October 6, 1953 in Anderson and was a Pendleton resident most of her life.Teresa was a 1971 graduate of Pendleton Heights High School and a 1981 graduate of Ball State University with a bachelor’s degree in Art Education.She was a nurse’s aide as well as a substitute teacher for several years.Teresa played the guitar and piano and enjoyed music especially gospel, classic rock and jazz. She was so creative and gifted artistically. She enjoyed decorating and painting. Teresa loved her horses and dogs. She enjoyed helping her daughters with their art projects and was like a second mom to their friends. Teresa loved to study the bible and was very knowledgeable sharing a bible story with her daughters every night before bedtime. The family would like to thank those who showed mom love and kindness during her stays at Community Health Network, Countryside Manor, Providence, and Crown Pointe over the past few years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Chancey and Mary E. (O’Connor) Trueblood, Jr.; and brothers, Todd Trueblood and Mark Trueblood. Survivors include her daughters, Heather Mohr (husband, Phillip Kyle) Underwood and Ericka Nichole “Nikki” Mohr; grandson, Tory Weston; former husband, and father of her daughters, Gary Mohr; siblings, Roger (wife, Nancy) Trueblood and Karen Smith; several nieces and several nephews.A graveside service with burial following will be held at 1 p.m., Monday at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, 6805 Dr. M.L.K. Jr. Blvd., Anderson, IN 46013 with Andrew Hodges officiating. It was Teresa’s request that memorial contributions be made to Riley Hospital for Children, 705 Riley Hospital Dr., Indianapolis, IN 46202.Arrangements entrusted to Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E.
