Teddy L. Crosley

Teddy L. Crosley, 85, Daleville, passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017. He was born July 16, 1932 in Madison County to Carl and Luttie (Hampton) Crosley. He grew up in Anderson and graduated in the Anderson High School class of 1950. He married Joyce Kendall on January 8, 1954 at Meadowbrook Baptist Church in Anderson. Survivors include his wife, Joyce Crosley of Daleville; daughter, Linda Fritz of Lapel; son, Tom (Julie) Crosley of Warsaw; grandchildren, Erica (Jacob) Bair, Joshua Crosley, Kyle (Yvonne) Alexander, and Mathew Alexander; great grandchildren, Navaeh Crosley, Charlee Crosley, Ayden Bair, Caitriona Bair, Dalton Alexander, Morgan McCormick, and Logan McCormick; and special grandchildren, Karrey Fox, Jeffery Fox and Marilyn Joyce Fox. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Litchfield and Pat Dillon. Ted was employed by General Motors for 37 ½ years, working in skilled trades until his retirement in July 1988. He was a member of Daleville Masonic Lodge #730, F. & A. M. He was very active in the Murat Shrine, remaining active with the Chanters, serving two terms as its President. He also previously served on the Murat Temple Association, Inc. Board of Directors. He touched the lives of many Nobles of the Murat Shrine by volunteering as the Chief Aide to many Potentates, and holds the title of Chief Aide Emeritus. He served as an Imperial Marshal’s Aide for over 15 Imperial Conventions. Calling will take place from 2-8PM, Wednesday, at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd Street, Anderson. A Masonic Service will be held at 7:30PM at the funeral home during calling hours. A funeral service will take place at 10:30 A.M., Thursday at the funeral home. Burial with military honors will follow at Anderson Memorial Park. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, c/o Murat Temple, 510 N. New Jersey Street, Indianapolis, IN 46204.
