Teddy E. Mcdole, 68, Lapel, passed away Monday, December 13, 2004, at his residence in Lapel following and extended illness. He was born on October 15, 1936, in Lapel, Indiana to Fred and Mary (Purkey) McDole. He was a U. S. Air Force veteran and he retired in 2000 from Owens Brockway Glass in Lapel after 49 years of employment. He was a member of the Lapel American Legion Post 212, the Lapel Eagles Aerie 4323, and was a former member of the Lapel Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by two daughters, Jamie (husband, Stan) Studebaker of Alexandria, and Christie (husband, Brian) Howell of Lapel; a daughter-in-law, Vickie McDole of Lapel; his mother, Mary McDole of Noblesville; four brothers, Fred McDole of Noblesville, Donald McDole of Lapel, Troy McDole of Anderson, and Randal McDole of Lapel; three sisters, Treva Evans of Noblesville, Jane Bland of Lapel, and Kathy Flatford of Tennessee; eight grandchildren, Kevin McDole, David McDole, Matt McDole, Ian Howell, Kayla Studebaker, Aaron Studebaker, Kyle Studebaker, and Sierra Studebaker; and four great grandchildren, Stephani McDole, Christian McDole, Hunter Studebaker, and Ella McDole. He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris K. (Cook) McDole in 2003; and two sons, Ronald McDole and Lawrence McDole. Services will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel where the Lapel American Legion Post 212 will conduct military graveside rites. Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Tuesday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
