Tamara Lynn “Tammy” Boicourt Foster, 56, passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at her residence surrounded by her loved ones. She was born July 31, 1961 in Anderson. Tammy worked for Freenis Corporate in Indianapolis. She was a member of the East Side House of Prayer. Tammy was a 14 year breast cancer survivor, while raising three children and completing her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She was on the Dean’s list at Ivy Tech and was part of the Phi-Theta-Kappa Society for her incredible scholarly achievements. Tammy was always thinking of others leaving little room to think about her own needs. She loved to crochet, garden, and cause trouble everywhere she went. No one was a stranger to Tammy, she was a people person and made friends wherever she went with whomever she was with. Tammy always found the positive in people and situations-you would never hear her complain. She was a fighter, a mother, a daughter, a friend, a sister, and a wife. Tammy taught everyone the importance of cherishing the little things in life and being present in your daily activities. Tammy was easy to love and loved others with all of her heart. She is survived by her husband, Doug Foster; daughters, Faith Perrin & Destanie Grimes; son, Joshua Perrin; parents, Jimmy Ray & Lillian Mae Boicourt; sister, Angela (husband, Tim) Longenbaugh; brother, Kevin (wife, Diana) Boicourt; stepdaughter, Brandi Foster; stepsons. Michael & Caleb Foster; step-grandchildren, Donavan Foster, Athena Garcia, & Alexander Small; and several nieces & nephews. Memorial Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2018, at the East Side House of Prayer, 1512 E. 16th St., Anderson, with visitation an hour prior.
