Sylvia "Jean" Deeter

Sylvia “Jean” Deeter, 69, left us on December 24, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital, Anderson, IN.

Born on August 27, 1955 in Muncie, IN. Jean retired from AB Casting a few years ago. Formally co-owner of Deeter Leasing with owner, husband James Deeter who passed on her birthday in 2005.

Jean enjoyed family and time with her friends. She also enjoyed her free time to read books or do jigsaw puzzles. She was a beautiful soul with a radiant glow. She will be so deeply missed.

She was also preceded in death by her mom, Mary Lee Lawson (Molly); dad, Norman Lawson; brother, Jack Lawson; great grandson, Michael Reigh Goodman.

Jean is survived by her 2 daughters, Jeniffer Amos and Michelle Back; 5 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Michael Goodman, Neal (Melissa) Goodman, and Norman Lawson Jr., along with many nieces and nephews including Jackson Lawson and Sherri Burkhardt; special friend, Teach.

Jean’s Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2025 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at the Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN, 46013.
