Susan Glenda Rogers

Susan Glenda (Pruitt) Rogers of Anderson, Indiana, left us on January 9, 2025, at Community Hospital in Anderson. Born on October 18, 1952, in Anderson to Glendal Pruitt and Frances Arlene (Shaul) Faulkenburg, she was a true local through and through.

Susie graduated from Madison Heights High School in 1970 and went on to share a wonderful life with her husband, Timothy A. Rogers, for over 50 years. She built a rewarding career for many years as a tax preparer at H&R Block before retiring.

A devoted member of the Community Church of Frankton, Susie had a heart of gold. She loved to travel and spend time with her family, whom she cherished deeply. Known affectionately for her "drive-bys," she made it a point to check in on her loved ones, spreading joy wherever she went. Her passion for life and her family was unmatched, and she will be dearly missed.

Susie is survived by her children; Kevin (Tracy) Rogers of Frankton, Clark (Melissa) Rogers of Yorktown, and Danay (Tom) McPeek of Tennessee; One brother, David (Polly) Pruitt; One sister-in-law, Sue Tarven; brother-in-law, Tom (Dee) Rogers; Grandchildren, Levi (Sami) House, Drew (Katie) Rogers, Jordan (Brandon Hoel) Rogers, Mara (Vincent) Anderson, Allie (Mark) Hains, Peyton (Jason) Vollennals, Keeton Rogers, Lily McFalls, Amelia Stephens, and Connor McPeek; Great-Grandchildren, Cooper, Wilder, Lettie, Hayden, Bowie, Isla, Axl, Ivy, Bella, Camden, Brady, and Baker; Extended Family, Bonnie Burroughs, Dick (Ann) Bousman, Joyce Love and Jerry (Carol) Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Timothy A. Rogers, Step-Father, James R. Faulkenburg, and Brother, Terry Pruitt.

Visitation for family and friends will take place from 4:00pm - 7:00pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013.

A funeral service celebrating her life will be on Thursday at the funeral home starting at 12:00pm. Burial will conclude services at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Children's Hospital or Peyton Manning's Children Hospital.
