Susan Carol Frossard

Susan Carol (Fenimore) Frossard, 70, of Noblesville, was born January 31, 1948, in Hamilton, OH and moved to Anderson, IN in 1950. She graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School in 1966, the last class to graduate from the school. She married J. Michael Frossard on April 18, 1970. They celebrated their 48th anniversary earlier this year. She graduated from Ball St. University with an Associate’s Degree in 1969 and a Bachelor of Science in teaching as a School Media Specialist in 1992. Between degrees, she worked as a secretary with Delco Remy before choosing to stay home to lovingly raise her children. She went on to be a beloved librarian in Anderson Community Schools for 18 years, touching the lives of many young children. Her passion was to develop a deep love of reading in the children she taught. She passed away peacefully on August 3, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. Susan is survived by her husband, J. Michael; her five children, Michelle Hayward (Chad), Megan Click (Josh), Melissa Hurst (Jerry), Mark (Adrienne), and Maribeth; 16 grandchildren; brothers, Steve (Pat), Mark (Mary Ann), Chris (Carol), and Kevin (fiancé, Michille Lemaster); and sister, Cheri Romero (Xavier). She was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Ruthann Fenimore. She was a wonderful, kind, faith-filled woman. Her greatest loves were her faith, family, and friends. She was an active member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church, volunteering in the Food Pantry, serving as a Eucharistic Minister, and as a member of Christ Renews His Parish Team 26. She lived out her faith, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. A devoted wife and mother, she always put her family first. She treasured attending the numerous activities of her grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 9, 2018 and 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Westfield. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Maria Goretti, 17102 Spring Mill Rd, Westfield, IN 46074, with Father Kevin Haines and Father Jeff Martin officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Maria Goretti Catholic School library in her memory.
