Spencer Margolin

Spencer P. Margolin, age 76, passed away on November 17, 2024 at his residence.

Spencer was born in Danville, Illinois to Samuel Margolin and Evelyn (LeVine) Margolin. 

He attended college at Indiana State University in Terre Haute where he and Nicky met. He obtained a Masters Degree in Sociology and began his career as a education director for the association for Retarded Citizens, now called Hopewell Center. 

Upon the death of his father in 1978 he started his own business as one of Indiana's first fee-only financial advisors.

He is survived by his wife Nicky (Lane) Margolin of Anderson; and his brother-in-law, Rob Lane, and his wife, Claudia.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Pat Lane. 

Services will be held at 1:30 Monday, November 25, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St. Anderson, IN 46013, with Dr. Steve Wimmer officiating. 

Visitation will take place from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.

Burial will take place at East Maplewood Cemetery, Anderson, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Tunnel for Towers, Mercy Ship or St. Jude's Children Hospital.
