Shirley Louise Leonard

Shirley Louise Leonard, 71, of Pendleton, passed away September 16, 2018 at her residence. She was born, October 4, 1946, in Anderson, the daughter of DeArmond and Betty Finley. Shirley spent most of her life in Madison County. She was an accountant and had worked for St. Mary College in South Bend. Shirley loved to travel and had a generous spirit that she used in ministry at the Pendleton Christian Church and Ovid Community church. She enjoyed her grandchildren and spending time with her pet dogs. She is survived by her son, Donald (Tammy) Leonard of Tipton; grandchildren, Jonathon (Rachel) Leonard of Moss, Tenn., James Leonard and Desiree Eaton of Tipton, and Brad Phifer of Fairland; several great grandchildren; and a brother, Gary (Margaret) Finley of Greensburg. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, John Leonard.
