Shirley Harbison

Shirley Harbison, 77, Noblesville, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at Zionsville Meadows following an extended illness. She was born on April 6, 1937, in Cullman, Alabama to Noble and Mary (Sherrill) Holland. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Noblesville and was an avid crafter. She is survived by three children, Sonja (husband, Stuart) Kindig, Rick (wife, Jill) Harbison both of Fishers, and Mick (wife, Nina) Harbison of Cullman, AL; six grandchildren, Stephanie Cooley, Jonathan Gaskin, Jared Gaskin, Luke Harbison, MaKenna Gaskin, and Matthew Harbison, one great-grandson, Jaxon Cooley; one brother, Walter (wife, Ethel) Holland of Crane Hill, AL; two brothers-in-law, Sherywon (wife, Carol) Harbison and Everett (wife, Harlene) Harbison; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 32 years, Winfred H. Harbison. A funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Pastor Patrick Propst officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Crane Hill, AL at a later date. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Sunday, December 14, 2014, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
