Shirley Ann (Rich) Foltz, 87, Fishersburg , passed away August 18, 2017 , at Community North Hospital, in Indianapolis following a brief illness..She was born on August 25, 1929, in Fishersburg, Indiana to Shirley Vane and Alta Aileen (Miller) Rich.Shirley was graduated from Lapel High School in 1947 and enjoyed annual luncheons with her class mates. She attended Fishersburg Wesleyan Church and Ford Street United Methodist Church for many years. Shirley was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed listening to sports talk radio. During the last eight months, she enjoyed making new friends at Westminster Village in Indianapolis.She retired from Macys in Concord, California and had previously worked for Wassons in Anderson.Shirley is survived by a daughter, Colleen (husband, John) MacPherson of Indianapolis, and son, Kim Noblitt of Walnut Creek, California; step-son Glenn Foltz of Pleasant Hill, California; nephew Kyle (Beth) Rich of Carmel; and great-nephew Alex Rich.Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, John Robert Noblitt; her husband, Robert Foltz.; and one brother, Douglas F. Rich.A graveside service will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, August 21, 2017, at Brookside Cemetery, 2900 Brookside Road, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Justin Fisher officiating, burial will follow. The family would like to thank Dr. Jan Hummer, O. D. for her wonderful care in preserving their mothers limited vision.Memorial contributions may be made to Lapel Optimist Club, P.O.
